Four tips to create your best New Year

We're a few days into a fresh New Year, and this is the perfect time to be intentional about creating the best year ever. The New Year also fell at the same time as a Super New Moon, making it an incredibly powerful time to visualise the year ahead and focus in on your goals and visions.
The New Moon was in the earthy sign of Capricorn, bringing you the energy to set achievable goals, but also the boost that you need to accomplish them.
If you are looking for the best start to 2022, here are four tips to help you manifest an amazing year.
Set goals and intentions
Getting clear on what it is you want is the first step to creating a fantastic year. Intentions are the choice to be, act or feel a certain way, Goals are more specific - such as reading a book a month, running 3 times a week, etc.
Take some time to sit and get clear on how you want to feel this year, and what you want to achieve. Set intentions such as 'I want to enjoy my life to the fullest' or ' I want to have a healthy relationship with my body, mind, and soul'.
When you are setting goals, make sure they are SMART - specific, motivating, achievable, relevant and time bound. Rather than saying you want to exercise more, set a specific goal such as 'I want to practice yoga three times a week' - choosing a work out that will motivate you to want to keep going, rather than one you'll try to avoid, and a time amount that you can actually commit to.

Declutter
There is something very satisfying about having a good tidy and clear out at the start of the year. Think about how good it feels when you pack away the Christmas Tree and clean the space.
You need space to expand, clutter stops growth and expansion, and it affects your health, both mentally and physically. Taking some time to clear out the clutter, to clean your space, let go of old unused belongings and to move things around  can let go of any stagnant energy, making space for fresh new energy and experiences into your life.
Letting go of what you no longer need, whether that be rubbish, or items that could be sold or donated can make you feel lighter.

Move your body
For many of us, the festive period is a time we hibernate at home far more than usual. We may have spent more time indoors, watched more TV, ate more food and moved very little.
A great way to shake off the old is to get moving. It can be as simple as getting outdoors for a long, nature walk. Wrap up warm and get out in the fresh air. Phsyical movement will make you feel less sluggish, the sunlight and fresh air will clear your mind and make you feel more alive.
The feeling of a walk on a cold winters day is exhilarating, and is sure to put a bounce back in your step.
Try something new
Your intentions and goals for the year maybe to try something new, and the New Year really is a wonderful time to begin. Whether it is a new hobby, a new exercise or studying a new subject, the New Year is a great time to reset and try new things.
Pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and trying new things can have a positive impact on your confidence and happiness levels.
