FAQs

Are your products really 100% natural?

Yes! Our products are made with only the finest natural ingredients including essential oils, butters, clays, cold pressed oils and botanicals.

Are your products vegan friendly?

Yes, everything we make is vegan friendly and our full range is registered with The Vegan Society.

Do you test on animals?

Absolutely not, and our full range of products are certified cruelty free with The Leaping Bunny program from Cruelty Free International - the global gold standard of cruelty free certification for cosmetics, household and cleaning products.

Are your products certified organic?

Currently no, but this is something that we are working towards in the future. However, all of the organic ingredients we use are certified organic.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! The majority of our packaging is made from recyclable and reusable glass, aluminium and cardboard. Some of our closures are made from plastic, however we have aluminium refill options for these. Our bath sachets are 100% compostable and recyclable.

Why does my product look different to last time?

As the products we make are handmade with natural and organic ingredients, occasionally there can be variations in colour, scent and texture between different batches.

Why is my body butter / hair mask / bath melts liquid?

During shipping in the hotter summer months these products may melt and become liquid. If this happens place them in the fridge for a few hours to re-solidify then store in a cool, dark place between use. Although the product may look different to the image when melted, it will not effect its effectiveness or quality.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

All of our products have been safety tested by a certified toxicologist and have been deemed safe to use for pregnant women. However, If you are pregnant or breastfeeding and unsure about using products with essential oils, we recommend that you seek medical advice from a doctor or midwife before use.

What is the shelf life of your products?

All of our products typically have a shelf life of 12 or 18 months. We recommend storing products out of direct sunlight and in a cool place when not in use to keep your products as fresh as possible. We only use natural preservatives such as Radish Root Ferment and antioxidant vitamin E to help prolong the life of your product.
